Summit Singers & Peak Performers: Policies & Procedures, Agreement of Understanding, and Financial Commitment for 2024–2025 Season

For informational purposes only. You must be accepted into GCC to fill out this contract.

Please read this agreement carefully. This form must be filled out for each child if there is more than one child in a family. Please initial each section to verify understanding and compliance.

  • There is a non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child.
  • Tuition (not including the registration fee) is $540 for the first child in a family, and also includes 10 adult concert tickets priced at $10 each. Each additional child per family costs $490 in tuition and receives 5 additional concert tickets. All singers receive a Spring Sing t-shirt.
  • The $50 registration fee serves as your deposit for membership in Greeley Children’s Chorale and is non-refundable should your child decide not to participate. The first regular payment (due July 1) is refundable provided you contact us prior to summer camp and inform us of your child’s decision. Once camp has started, NO refunds will be issued.
  • Singers who drop out of GCC after summer camp forfeit any tuition already paid. These funds cannot be transferred to siblings or other Chorale members.
  • All payments must be made by the due dates. Failure to remit the appropriate funds by the due date will result in a $10 late fee. Any checks returned NSF will be subject to our bank fee (which may be in addition to fees from your own financial institution), and only cash, money orders, or online payments will be accepted in the future.
  • Each singer’s tuition payments must be current in order for the singer to be allowed to perform in a concert.
  • Requests for tuition grants must be submitted by May 6 or upon acceptance into the group. All necessary documentation must be submitted for the request to be considered.
  • Please refer to the following chart for the payment schedule.

*Cost per each additional singer in the same family.

  • At least one adult per family is required to serve on one of our parent committees. The responsibilities of the committee will be outlined at the parent meeting. If you fail to meet your obligation to the committee, you will be required to pay a $50 fee before the final concert. Fulfillment of your duties will be determined by the committee chair and board members.
  • GCC offers members the opportunity to raise funds for individual use. These personal fundraising accounts (PFA) are a helpful service we are pleased to offer. Because the GCC is a non-profit organization, funds raised for this purpose must adhere to specific guidelines.
  • PFA funds will be held for each chorister as long as he/she is a member in good standing with the Chorale.
  • Chorale members may choose to use PFA funds towards tuition, the group fundraiser, or tour payments.
  • Upon graduation or not returning to the Chorale, funds may be transferred to a family member currently in or entering GCC. If there are no family members, funds become the property of the Greeley Children’s Chorale’s general fund.
  • GCC reserves the right to use PFA funds to cover the balance on delinquent accounts.
  • You are required to purchase a GCC polo shirt directly from us. This cost is separate from the uniform fee and will be collected at camp.
  • You are required to purchase black shoes and socks which the GCC designates as acceptable.
  • You will be issued a shirt, pants, and garment bag with hangers. These items remain the property of the Greeley Children’s Chorale. The fee for use of this attire is $50 and has been included in the fee payment structure. $25 will be refunded upon the return of these items in acceptable condition, and the remaining $25 serves as a cleaning/maintenance fee.
  • You will be billed for every item not returned or in damaged condition.
  • Each child will receive a music folder, a bag for storage, and many pieces of choral music.
  • The music and any other designated items loaned to children remain the property of the Greeley Children’s Chorale. You will be billed for any items not returned.
  • Attendance at rehearsals and major performances is an expectation. Weekly rehearsals during the school year will be held on Monday evenings from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Promptness is required. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled prior to each concert. Major performances this season include Poinsettia Pops (Peak only), Winter’s Eve Songfest, our Stars concert, and Spring Sing.
  • If an excessive number of rehearsals are missed, singers must have a conference with the directors to determine eligibility to perform the concert.
  • Choir members must wear the designated uniform, or they will not be able to perform in a concert.
  • Failure to participate in a concert could result in your child being removed from the Chorale. If your child misses a major concert, parents must communicate with the directors to explain the absence. Your child will be allowed to continue to participate in the Greeley Children’s Chorale at the directors’ discretion.
  • All adults traveling with GCC singers will be required to undergo a background check.
  • A current background check may be provided to GCC; otherwise every adult 18 and over will need to have one conducted by lntellicorp.
  • Each traveling adult is responsible for the cost of the background check and having it completed by the deadline established by GCC.
  • A new background check will be required annually.
  • Failure to provide or undergo a background check will prohibit an adult from traveling with GCC.
